Coffee bags with valves have revolutionized the coffee packaging industry. These bags are constructed from three layers of film, with the option to add a fourth layer for added strength when necessary. The thickness can range from 0.05mm to 0.5mm. Let's delve into the details of their construction and design.

Coffee bags with valves are built with precision to ensure that your coffee remains fresh and flavorful. The bag's structure consists of three primary layers, with the option to add a fourth layer for extra strength, depending on the specific requirements.

Eight-Side Sealing Coffee Bags Structure

Eight-side sealing Inner Layer:

The innermost layer of the bag, which directly comes into contact with the coffee beans, is typically made from PE (Polyethylene). PE is known for its non-toxic and harmless nature, with stable chemical properties. It exhibits remarkable resistance to most acids and bases and does not react with the coffee's components, ensuring the preservation of your coffee's flavor and quality.

Eight-side sealing Middle Layer:

The middle layer, not in direct contact with the coffee beans, plays a critical role in creating a barrier. This layer is typically constructed from high-purity aluminum (AL), which is pressed to form a high-quality metal foil. Aluminum is chosen for its lightweight properties, exceptional strength, and reflective abilities. It also provides airtight and moisture-resistant qualities, serving as the primary layer to safeguard the coffee beans from the external environment.

Eight-side sealing Outer Layer:

The outermost layer of the Coffee Bag is made from polyester film (PET). PET is non-toxic and odorless, serving a protective function. It boasts high strength and toughness and is printable, with excellent resistance to color fading and friction. However, it's worth noting that PET is not environmentally friendly. As a result, many individuals prefer an alternative option, such as kraft paper, which also offers high strength and toughness, has its natural color, and doesn't require full-surface printing. Additionally, kraft paper is biodegradable, providing a visually appealing, eco-friendly option.

Coffee Bags with Valve

One of the key innovations in coffee bags with valves is the single-way air valve, a vital component that helps preserve your coffee's freshness. This valve is strategically located on the front of the bag, nestled inside the bag's interior, and comprises three essential parts: the top cap, the baseplate, and the valve core.

How the Single-Way Air Valve Works: When coffee is freshly roasted, it releases gases over time as it degasses. If these gases are trapped inside the bag, they can lead to an inflated, unmanageable pouch. That's where the single-way air valve comes into play. This ingenious design ensures that your coffee remains in perfect condition.

Here's how it works:

Eight-side sealing coffee bags

  1. Top Cap: The top cap, a small, inconspicuous component on the front of the bag, features tiny holes that allow gases to escape when the internal pressure inside the bag increases.

  2. Baseplate: The baseplate serves as the foundation of the valve, anchoring it securely within the bag's structure.

  3. Valve Core: The valve core is the central component responsible for controlling the flow of gases. It is designed to open only when the internal pressure surpasses a specific threshold. Once this threshold is crossed, the coffee's gases can escape through the valve core and out through the small holes in the top cap. This one-way system ensures that air from the outside cannot permeate the bag, maintaining the coffee's pristine condition.

Resealing for Freshness: To ensure your coffee remains as fresh as possible, coffee bags with valves also come equipped with a user-friendly feature - the pull-ring at the top of the bag. When you open your coffee bag by pulling this ring, you reveal an inner sealing strip that allows you to reseal the bag, maintaining the coffee's freshness for an extended period.

Eight-side sealing Resealing for Freshness:

At the top of the coffee bag, you'll find a convenient pull-ring designed to open the bag. Beneath the pull-ring, there is an internal sealing strip that allows for resealing the bag. While this feature enhances the bags' usability, it's essential to consume your coffee relatively quickly once the bag is opened to enjoy the full freshness of your beans.
